HTML bdo tag

In this chapter, we will learn about a new tag <bdo> of HTML. This is tag bdirectional overrides which is used to override the current or default text direction. This tag of HTML is used to move the content present in the browser from left to right or left to right. Or we can say that it determines the direction of the material inside.

This tag is used to write languages like Arabic and Hebrew which are written from right to left.

The syntax of <bdo> of HTML is written as:-

<bdo dir="">content........</bdo>

Browser Support:-

All modern browsers support this tag of HTML.

Value Attribute Description
ltr
rtl
dir Required. Specifies the text direction of the text inside the <bdo> element.
